Older downloaded Install macOS Mojave.app files may have expired installer certificates. If you attempt to run an old copy, macOS may refuse to open it. You must download a fresh copy using Apple’s current links to get a valid timestamp and certificate.
Mojave is the final version of macOS that can run 32-bit applications. If you upgrade to Catalina (10.15) or newer, all 32-bit apps will stop working.
