The scores you created with your old score
editor are no more compatible with the new
one?
You own scores in PDF format, and you'd want
to modify them with your favorite score
editor?
Until now, the only solution was either to
input your score again completely, or to
print them and to use an optical recognition
software to convert them, with more or less
success, into editable documents.
This way of thinking now belongs to the
past. From a document in PDF format (that
you can generate from any software, even
from discontinued products), PDFtoMusic Pro
rebuilds the original score, and exports it
for instance into MusicXML format, useable in
most of the professional score editors.
Because it only processes PDF files that
have been exported from a score editor
software, PDFtoMusic Pro offers a
unique reliability and outstanding results.
Therefore,
scanned sheet music cannot be managed by
PDFtoMusic Pro.

The F-18: The High-Performance Fighter Jet Stealing the Show in Top Gun MaverickThe highly anticipated sequel to the 1986 classic, Top Gun, hit theaters in 2022, and with it, a new generation of moviegoers was introduced to the thrill of high-speed flight and the iconic F-18 fighter jet. The F-18, also known as the F/A-18 Hornet, has been a mainstay of the United States Navy’s fleet for decades, and its appearance in Top Gun Maverick has reignited interest in this impressive aircraft. The F-18 was first introduced in the 1980s as a multirole fighter, capable of air-to-air and air-to-ground combat. Its design was influenced by the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the F-14 Tomcat, and it was meant to be a more affordable alternative to the F-15 Eagle. The F-18 quickly proved itself to be a versatile and reliable aircraft, with a range of capabilities that made it an asset in a variety of military operations. Capabilities of the F-18 The F-18 is a high-performance fighter jet, with a top speed of over Mach 1.8 ($ \(M_{max} = 1.8\) \() and a range of approximately 1,200 nautical miles (\) \(1,200 nmi\) \(). It is equipped with a pair of General Electric F404-GE-402 engines, which provide a combined 17,000 pounds of thrust (\) \(17,000 lb_{f}\) $). The F-18 is also highly maneuverable, with a thrust-to-weight ratio that allows it to perform complex aerial stunts with ease. The F-18 in Top Gun Maverick In Top Gun Maverick, the F-18 takes center stage, with Tom Cruise reprising his role as Maverick, an elite fighter pilot. The film features a range of intense aerial sequences, showcasing the F-18’s capabilities in a way that has never been seen before on the big screen. From high-G turns to afterburner climbs, the F-18 is shown to be an incredibly capable aircraft, and its performance is a key part of the film’s action. Real-Life F-18 Operations The F-18 has seen extensive service in a range of military operations, including combat missions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. Its versatility has made it an asset in a variety of roles, from air superiority to ground attack. The F-18 has also been used in a range of training exercises, including those with allied nations. Upgrades and Future Developments The F-18 has undergone a range of upgrades over the years, including the introduction of new avionics and radar systems. The F-18E/F Super Hornet, a variant of the aircraft, features a range of improvements, including a new fuselage and advanced radar systems. The F-18 is expected to remain in service with the US Navy until at least 2025, with plans for a new variant, the F/A-18 Block III, currently underway. Conclusion The F-18 is an iconic fighter jet that has played a significant role in military operations for decades. Its appearance in Top Gun Maverick has introduced a new generation to its capabilities, and its performance in the film is a testament to its enduring legacy. Whether in the skies over the Pacific or on the big screen, the F-18 remains an impressive and formidable aircraft.
