Zephyr is a top-tier tragic antagonist. You understand why he wants to destroy everything, but you also understand why Luffy has to stop him. The final act—where Luffy breaks his fists on Zephyr’s armor until the armor breaks—is symbolic perfection. not that kind) with genuine pathos.
